Maurice Lahey: Owner
Maurice started his career at age 13 as the neighbourhood barber. At age 16, he landed his first job in a barbershop, moving to Ontario for a few years until returning to Newfoundland. Maurice opened his first barbershop in 1969 on Pennywell Road.
Winner of four provincial men's hairstyling competitions, and three Atlantic men's hair competitions, Maurice has also won the Atlantic Toupee Competition. He has spent many years teaching advanced barbering classes and continues to share his knowledge with his staff. With 56 years in the industry, he has received a lifetime achievement award for his many accomplishments.
Juanita Hayes: Senior Stylist Since 1986
Specializing in men's clipper cuts and styles, Juanita has completed advanced training in clipper work. She is also certified in cutting, fitting and styling hairpieces.
Lisa Lahey: Senior Red Seal Certified Stylist Since 1992
Specializing in color correction, Lisa is a Joico Verocolor-certified colorist. She's completed advanced classes in cutting techniques and clipper work and is also certified in the cutting, fitting and styling of hairpieces.
Helen Moores: Senior Stylist with 31 Years of Experience
Helen has advanced training in clipper work and specializes in men's and women's cutting and coloring techniques. She is also a Joico Verocolor-certified colourist in addition to being certified in the cutting fitting and styling of hairpieces.
Heather Reid
Heather is a senior stylist specializing in advanced men and women’s cutting techniques. She has advanced training in clipper work and is a Joico Verocolor certified colorist.
Tracey Martin: Senior Stylist with 25 Years' Experience
Specializing in men's and women's cutting and coloring techniques, Tracey has advanced clipper training experience and is a Joico Verocolor-certified colourist. She also has comprehensive training in the cutting, fitting and styling of hairpieces.
Paula Hart: Senior Stylist since 1992
Paula specializes in cutting and colouring techniques and has advanced training in clipper work and in Joico Verocolor.
